Local Rules introduced as a result of COVID-19   20/03/2020

The Club in agreement with the owners have introduced a couple of local rules to help in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Firstly the flagstick/pin should be left in the hole at all times.

Secondly, all rakes for raking the bunkers have been removed.

As a result all 20  bunkers/sand penalty areas on the links have been deemed Ground Under Repair and free relief must be taken.

This has the effect of all competitions being non qualifying competitions....ie   no handicap reductions or point ones   (0.1s) back.

Local Rules:  Until further notice       ( from March 20th 2020)

(due to the COVID-19 pandemic)

Pertaining to Bunkers

All bunkers have been deemed out of play and should be regarded as G.U.R whether marked or not.

Rakes have been removed

Relief –From bunkers deemed to be GUR:  the player must lift the ball and drop it, without penalty, within one club-length of and not nearer the hole than the nearest point of relief. The nearest point of relief must not be in a penalty area or on a putting green.

When the ball is dropped within one club-length of the nearest point of relief, the ball must first strike a part of the course at a spot that avoids interference by the condition and is not in a penalty area or a putting green.

 Pertaining to the Flagstick

The flagstick/pin must not be handled and must be left in the hole at all times
